At Automatic Feed Company, we understand that no man – or company – is an island. We recognize the influence we can have on our employees and our community and we embrace the responsibility to give back to the community, to make a difference and to leave things better than when they were found.
Automatic Feed is committed to responsible environmental management throughout our business activities ensuring continual improvement by the considerate use of natural resources as well as the provision of a safe and healthy workplace for our employees. Automatic Feed Company will:
Despite the strength of today’s manufacturing sector, it’s predicted that 600,000 manufacturing jobs are going unfilled due to lack of skilled workers. Automatic Feed is working with local schools to provide a hands-on educational experience that exposes youth to the world of modern manufacturing and the value of STEM education.
Our newly opened Northwest Ohio Learning Center for Manufacturing Sciences, located at our Napoleon headquarters, is a joint venture between Automatic Feed, Northwest State Community College, and Napoleon-Area City Schools. The curriculum provides hands-on experience and education in engineering technologies, print-reading, manufacturing processes, industrial computing, and more. With this program, we hope to inspire youth to explore interests in STEM education and build an interest in manufacturing careers.
We believe these experiences can help young students to develop and sustain an interest in their pursuit of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) studies and careers, and help maintain America’s leadership status in technology and innovation.
Through both corporate giving and through our employees volunteerism, Automatic Feed Company regularly supports the community through various initiatives.
