Duties and Responsibilities
1.Minimum of a high school education- applicable secondary education or certificates will be taken into consideration.
2.Must be able to read from Blueprints including mechanical parts list drawings, layouts, hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication.
3.Have strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build new and rebuild used equipment.
4.Know how to use and maintain all hand and power tools.
5.Have own assortment of hand tools, including both English and Metric sizes.
6.Be able to perform duties and responsibilities of Assembly position.
7.Have basic fabrication skills
8.Knowledge of using different measuring equipment examples: Micrometers, Theodolite, levels and transit.
9.Knowledge of coupling alignment
10.Ability to route and bend tubing
11.Knowledge of machine rigging and use of overhead cranes.
This position is a union position and will require the individual to join the union two months from date of hire.
